I Love This Road .......which was pretty fitting as we heard it for the first time on the way home from dropping Beck at Potsdam...on the Ottawa radio station, Y101.1, which comes in great all the way down to Blue Mountain Lake. Then when you cross over the mountain there 101.1 in Fort Plain comes in. It is only about a half a mile from the divide between the Hudson and St. Lawrence water sheds, which is also kind of neat.

Question: why don't they ever release these songs in the USA?

This guys is getting right down to business these days, running robins out of the house yard and staking his claim to at least half an acre. Turn up the sound to hear the conglomeration of bird songs he has come up with so far. I am sure by midsummer he will really have a symphony for us.

***Excuse the jiggly end. I was shooting out the truck window and the boss started backing up for some reason known only to himself. I won't complain though. He is always willing to stop and let me take pictures when I am riding with him.

Last night, after I finished my "stuff" and turned the computer over to Alan he suddenly began to snort and snicker....he wouldn't let me see what he was reading until much browbeating and cajoling went on, but I finally got it out of him.....

A gynecologist had become fed up with malpractice insurance and HMO paperwork and was burned out. Hoping to try another career where skillful hands would be beneficial, he decided to become a mechanic (auto-technician). He went to the local technical college, signed up for evening classes, attended diligently, and learned all he could. When the time for the practical exam approached, the gynecologist prepared carefully for weeks and completed the exam with tremendous skill.

When the results came back, he was surprised to find that he had obtained a score of 150%. Fearing an error, he called the instructor, saying, "I don't want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding result, but I wonder if there is an error in the grade."

The instructor said, "During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark. "You put the engine back together again perfectly,which is also worth 50% of the mark." After a pause, the instructor added, "I gave you an extra 50% because you did it all through the muffler, which I've never seen done in my entire career."
