Alan testing out this formation, which is called the Keyboard. It forms a natural resonating chamber and makes delightful music when someone hums under it.

And the next day

The snow geese showed up. I debated taking the camera with me to clean out the stove...didn't.
So I had to run back in and get it as these began to circle in front of the place as soon as I got the stove door open. They are surely pretty things like bits of white confetti whirling on the wind.

This flock flew over the river by the house yesterday. I suspect there were a couple thousand but I couldn't fit them all in the picture

This looks just like a Jersey cow to me, but to many hunters she could be a nice white-tailed buck...so we keep her in the barn yard during hunting season
