This looks just like a Jersey cow to me, but to many hunters she could be a nice white-tailed buck...so we keep her in the barn yard during hunting season
my goodness, isn't it amazing that someone might mistake her for a deer? Of our 3 dogs, one is a red merle Australian Shepherd (splotchy red, white and liver markings; no tail, floppy ears) and our neighbour almost shot him last spring (in OUR hayfield) because he thought it was a coyote!
