A NastyGram
So, it has literally been years since I bothered to post on this blog. However, the other day I got a nastygram from Google, which informed me that I had violated community standards.
I thought it was for Northview Diary, so I looked and looked and couldn't find anything amiss.
Thus I asked for and received a review.
Still bad.
Naughty, naughty me.
Then I noticed that it was for this blog not NVD. Well, alrighty then....
Turns out that someone took offense to photos of the kids processing venison. "Shocking content."
Yeah, if you are from the city and you don't grow and/or harvest your own and you think food comes in Styrofoam, then I suppose they were shocking.
Didn't shock me as they were taken in my kitchen, where many a deer has been turned into steak, stew, and sausage. I saved the pics and deleted the post.
Meanwhile there are a lot of photos on here that I am going to save on this computer and the external hard drive so I don't lose them. They were taken with the older Canon, but it was a powerhouse for its time and took sharper pics than the new one...just not enough zoom for crazy distant birdie photos.
So having survived my spanking so far, regular content will resume over on Northview Diary, thanks for visiting.

AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am always so surprised at the response to country living...but after all these years I know I shouldn't be surprised. Sigh.
Linda, worst of it is the post was from 2016! Some people are just killjoys...I am sure it was reported by some vegan snowflake or something like that. Doesn't matter at all, but seems like a sign of the times.
Dontcha just wish you could reach through the monitor and slap some people silly?
